The virgin oak from which this urn has been handcrafted once stood tall in the woods of Wisconsin. The majestic tree was felled by enterprising woodsmen sometime prior to 1880 and turned into timbers to construct a barn. For five generations this oak stood through the winds of time though many seasons of harvest and drought.
Salvaged from the beams of the barn after standing idle for more than two decades, this oak has been given purpose once, handcrafted into this reclaimed oak urn.
Like the handcrafted Barnwood Pine urn, the vintage reclaimed wood is warm, rich, and saturated with history. Each urn is unique and varies in color.
This cremation urn is suitable as an urn for human ashes, but may also be used as a pet urn. Included is a free removable rigid plastic liner (sometimes called a "temporary cremation container") and a sealable bag, which are required by the TSA for air travel, and may be required by your mausoleum, church, or columbarium.
NOTE: Because of the unique qualities of natural wood products, urns will vary slightly from the photos. We offer a no-questions-asked guarantee - If you are dissatisfied with your product for any reason, we will be happy to offer a replacement or refund.
